Nike has released another iteration of the Air Max 720, the successor to the popular Air Max 270 silhouette. The 'Air Max 720 Northern Lights Night' released in February 2019 and has drawn design inspiration from the Aurora Borealis, also known as the 'northern lights'. The sneaker features an iridescent purple colourway throughout and is paired with black accents for contrast. The upper is crafted from perforated mesh for enhanced breathability. Additional details include signature "Swoosh"" logos on the lateral sides and an integrated lacing system. The sneaker sits atop Nike's thickest Air unit till date which was crafted using over 70% recycled manufacturing waste.
