The Ambush x Nike Air Max 180 Hi “Black” is a limited edition collaboration by designer Yoon Ahn that delivers a stylish new take on the Air Max 180. The classic running shoe from 1991 that’s one of the most beloved Air Max models ever gets transformed into a high-fashion sneaker by Ambush, featuring a sleek zip-up shroud covering the upper in a high-top cut, inspired by the classic Zoom Flight “The Glove” basketball shoe from 1998. The recognizable sole unit and TPU heel counter from the Air Max 180 is the only hint that these are modeled after the vintage runner, as the upper’s radical makeover turns the shoe into an all-new design. Alongside a white colorway, the Ambush x Nike Air Max 180 Hi “Black” released in spring 2019.
