3-D Engineered Air Mesh
The Newton Gravity Plus running shoe boasts a mesh 3-D Air Mesh upper, that encourages cool air to permeate the fabric and remove uncomfortable heat build-up to create a healthy environment your feet can thrive in. Not only this but the upper is men's specific and anatomically designed to mould to the contours of your foot delivering a secure, snug fit. A plush, seamless upper wraps around the foot delivering a secure fit that offers next-to-skin comfort, the snug fit eliminates chafing and rubbing for a shoe that adapts and moves with your foot without any distraction or discomfort. An advanced lacing system offers a versatile fit, securing the midfoot for a complete lockdown that reduces in-shoe slippage. Working in tandem with the advanced lacing system, the new anatomically designed skeletal tongue wraps around the foot for a snug, streamlined fit. The upper of the Gravity Plus has been made in part with recycled materials.
NRG Foam Midsole
The midsole of the Gravity Plus has been created using NRG foam. The NRG midsole is a large cell foam that has been designed to provide you with full foot cushioning as well as excellent energy return. The midsole attenuates shock impact where you strike down the most, alleviating stress on the joints and reducing fatigue, by doing this you are able to run for longer. Not only this but the shoes provide a high-energy return, giving you an extra spring in your step and propelling you forward so you can hit those PB's with ease. Enhancing the comfort of the shoes Newton have included a Hilyte insole, providing you with a soft and comfy feel mile after mile. Finishing the midsole, the Newton Gravity Plus has an XPS+ plate system, generated by the active movement of the lugs in/out of the midsole, it creates a springy cushioning system that provides a quicker bounce back with less energy.
Biodegradable Sole
The outsole of the Gravity Plus has been created using recycled materials making them better for the planet. The most premium and durable vegan recycled materials have been selected, by doing this Newton are able to remove 4+ water bottles from the waste chain and make a material that will biodegrade 75% faster than standard shoes in landfills. The outsole provides superb traction in both dry and wet conditions giving you the confidence to run no matter the weather. Additional flex grooves and metatarsal pods have been added to the outsole for increased flexibility, encouraging the foot to flex naturally by mirroring the foot's motion for a smooth gait cycle.
