The Odense Double bags are made of very durable water-resistant 500D polyester with a TPU coating. This makes them incredibly strong and hard-wearing, and ideal for carrying heavy items. It¿s easy to clean the bags with a damp cloth, so they¿ll continue to look new for a day in day out. Due to the waterproof fabric, a bit of rain won¿t hurt the pannier. However, the bag in not 100% waterproof due to the exposed stitching so for use in sustained heavy rain, the use of an additional rain cover is advised. For extra safety in the dark, the Odense panniers are finished with reflective material on 3 sides. The bags each have a 19. 5L main compartment, so you¿ll be able to bring a lot with you. The panniers top flap is securely closed with adjustable hook fastenings. If the Odense Double panniers must be attached further back on the luggage carrier, or if they are carrying a heavy load, you can use a New Looxs spacer (not included) which prevents the panniers from contacting the wheel. Thanks to the plastic panels that you can put at the bottom and at the sides of the panniers, it will be firm and retain its shape.
