Do I look like a chicken? The New Balance x Paperboy 992 âFried Eggâ marks the latest collaboration between the mom and pop sneaker brand and cult Parisian café. The duo chose this time to work on the fan favourite 992 silhouette, preparing one eggcellent sneaker. Starting on a base of breathable white mesh, cut out panels of white and muted grey suede are layered up across the upper framed by a strip of soft beige suede beneath. A high contrast hit of yolky yellow suede brightens up the lace guards sitting adjacent to the creamy toned tumbled leather tongue, further complimented by neatly embroidered metallic New Balance branding and a silver-backed fried egg for a little extra added whimsy. Branding for this sneaker is kept equally playful and tonal with the iconic silvery stacked âNâ embellishing the lateral and medial sides of this sneaker whilst the heel sports the Paperboy icon and model number. Underfoot the classic chunky 992 ABZORB sole sports a fresh white tone elevated by textured semi-translucent air units across the midsole finished off with a silvery New Balance tag across the heel bringing this superb sneaker to a close. The Paperboys x New Balance 992 fried Egg, is seriously good enough to eat.
