Water-Resistant Ripstop Upper
Providing you with the protection you need during winter conditions, the Fresh Foam X More v4 utilises a ripstop upper construction. This upper is water-resistant to help prevent water from entering the shoes and provide you with a good deal of protection from rain and wet conditions. Not only this, but the shoes have a no-sew construction to prevent further discomfort within the shoes and help to reduce chafing and irritations. The uppers have strategically placed perforations to further prevent a build-up of moisture and sweat, and help to keep feet feeling cool and comfortable on your run. Increasing the level of support and coverage, the shoes have a 360-degree reflective mudguard for preventing rocks and debris from entering the shoes, and reflective accents to enhance visibility in low light conditions. Completing the uppers are toggle lace closures, helping to provide an easy on-or-off construction, especially when wearing winter gloves.
Fresh Foam X MidsoleProviding maximum cushioning and softness whilst still offering a stable ride, the midsole features a wider base at the forefoot and features Fresh Foam X for an 80% softer feel than the v3. The newest version of Fresh Foam is a more energetic rebound than its predecessor. Attenuating shock impact, the Fresh Foam X protects against stress to joints when striking down on hard, unforgiving surfaces without compromising a responsive, natural ride. Delivering plush underfoot cushioning, the Fresh Foam is a fusion of plush foam and advanced design, creating an ultra-cushioned and geometrically sound ride. The midsole has an increased rocker for a smoother heel-toe strike transitioning, which also helps reduce the use of superfluous muscle power, diminishing fatigue, and keeping you motivated for longer.
