Description
The Concepts x New Balance 998 "C-Note" is the 2023 re-release of the collaboration between the popular sneaker retailer and New Balance on the lifestyle shoe. Originally released back in 2013, the Concepts x New Balance 998 “C-Note” was inspired by the $100 bill. The original version of the shoe was also in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the 998 model. The 2023 “C-Note” celebrates the silhouette’s 30th anniversary. As far as how the two “C-Note” releases differ, the 2023 version takes on a slightly different silhouette shape for the 998, which was debuted as part of Teddy Santis’s “Made in USA” collection in 2023. The 2023 edition also includes “Concepts” branding on the heel of the shoe, which was absent from the initial release. Grey mesh forms the base with tan suede appearing on the overlays. A white “N” logo is found on the sides. A tan, blue, and cream midsole completes the look. Release date: October 5, 2023
