Description
The New Balance 9060 “Grey Matter” is a grey-based colorway of the retro-inspired sneaker by the Boston footwear brand. Debuted by Chicago clothing and sneaker designer Joe Freshgoods as part of a collaboration in 2022, the New Balance 9060 borrows design elements from New Balance’s classic 990 series. Specifically, the “Grey Matter” colorway features a silver mesh with suede overlays in a grey finish. An metallic silver ‘N’ logo appears on either side of the mid-panel while a “NB 9060” tongue patch takes inspiration from the shape of the original 991’s visible ABZORB unit in the forefoot. A stacked ABZORB midsole with ABZORB SBS cushioning in the heel completes the design. Release date: November 22, 2023
