Description
The Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 550 “Grey Suede” is yet another neutral and popular colorway of the retro basketball shoe co-designed by Teddy Santis and his New York based clothing brand. The 550 model was brought back by Aimé Leon Dore in 2020 when Santis rediscovered the shoe while combing through New Balance’s archives for design inspiration. The “Grey Suede” colorway updates the shoe with grey suede overlays on a white mesh base. A tonal suede “N” logo can be found on either side of the shoe. Tonal “550” branding appears on the forefoot and dual “Aimé Leon Dore” and “New Balance” branding is located on the heel of the left and right shoe, respectively. A thick, vintage-inspired cream rubber midsole completes the look. Release date: November 2, 2022
