The DTLR x New Balance 2002R “Virginia Is For Lovers” is a shoe made in collaboration between the retailer and New Balance that celebrates the former’s DMV-area roots. DTLR and New Balance have collaborated on several occasions, including on the 2002R “Virginia Is For Lovers. ” The shoe’s color scheme is derived from the “Virginia Is For Lovers” tourism and travel sign. The upper features a light grey mesh base with tonal suede overlays. An “N” logo with blue and red trim appears on the sides.
