The New Balance 2002R “Metallic Silver/Red” is a futuristic-looking colorway for the lifestyle shoe that features modern footwear technology and classic styling. The 2002R, as it name would otherwise suggest, didn’t release in 2002, but in 2010 when it debuted in New Balance’s 1000 collection of performance running shoes. The crisp design is complete with a silver mesh base with tonal leather overlays. Bits of black accenting come into play on the overlays on the forefoot and heel. A white “N” logo with black trim is found on side. “2002R” and “NB” detailing appear on the collar and heel, respectively. ABZORB and ABZORB SBS cushioning in the midsole and heel of the shoe ensure optimal comfort whether for performance or casual wear.
