The New Balance 2002R “Black/Silver/Green” is a casual look for the lifestyle design with a performance running shoe aesthetic. The New Balance 2002R debuted in 2010, not 2002 as suggested by its product name, when it was revealed in the footwear brand’s 1000 collection of performance running shoes. The design features a stealthy vibe with a black mesh base and tonal leather overlays. Subtle hints of silver accenting come into play on the overlays on the forefoot and heel. A black “N” logo with green trim is found on either side. “2002R” and “NB” detailing appear on the collar and heel, respectively. Underfoot, New Balance supplies the 2002R with ABZORB and ABZORB SBS cushioning in the midsole and heel of the shoe to ensure optimal comfort whether for performance or casual wear.
