His shows remained firmly in the top ten until his untimely death in 1966 robbed the world of a comedy genius. Lack of repeats ensured that subsequent generations were denied Haynes comedic brilliance - until now. Featuring wickedly funny scripts from Alf Garnett creator Johnny Speight, this set contains a lively mix of sketches and musical entertainment while Speight s scripts invariably drew on the familiar class antagonism which he would hone to perfection on Till Death Us Do Part.
