Calling all sci fi fans: did you know Moschino’s Alarm Clock cross body bag is inspired by the bedroom scene in 2001: A Space Odyssey? Made from laminated metallic leather for a gilded effect, it certainly wouldn’t look out of place as a timepiece in an opulently decorated mansion (which is exactly what Creative Director Jeremy Scott was going for). Though fitted with baroque inspired hands, it won’t tell you the time or wake you up in the morning, but that’s not to say it isn’t practical; there’s plenty of room for your lipstick, keys and cardholder.
