Encased within a 40 millimetre 18 carat rose gold case, the manufacture movement displays its rare set of perpetual calendar complications on a crisp silver-white dial. A subsidiary dial at 3 o’clock reveals the month and leap year, a moonphase aperture and date display are placed at 6 o’clock and the day and 24 hour indicator is referenced at 9 o’clock. These displays are accompanied by blue-coloured hardware and sleek rose gold hands for the hours, minutes and second time zone coated in a helping of Superluminova. The Montblanc Heritage Perpetual Calendar watch secures to the wrist by a Sfumato alligator leather strap in tan brown and when off, you can admire the automatic winding movement through the sapphire crystal glass case back. Sapphire crystal is also used to protect the dial, help assist in a 50 metre water resistant rating and provides instant legibility thanks to its anti-reflective coating.
