Montane Terra Converts Pants
Designed to convert to shorts for added versatility and weight saving on multi-day treks and mountain walking where conditions can be changeable.
Designed using the Vector Lite Fabric, these pants are fast drying with excellent stretch properties for optimum freedom of movement. This material also has water repellent qualities, which keep you protected and dry from light rain showers. A microfleece lined waistband sits just above the hips, ensuring maximum comfort and reducing the risk of chafing and irritability. The waistband ensures an optimum fit whilst the press stud, button and removable webbing belt exist for adjustable comfort. A UPF 50+ treatment provides ample protection from the suns harmful UV rays keeping you safe during the summer months. Discrete zips just above the knees allow the pants to be converted into shorts, this is ideal when the temperature begins to rise and added ventilation is needed. The bottom half of the pants can be stowed away into a backpack until the weather takes a turn for the worst. Completing the Terra Converts Pants are multiple pockets which provide ample storage space for your essential items. (Two front hand pockets feature of the side of each leg and a zipped security pocket is hidden within the right pocket. Two zippered cargo pockets are also big enough to store multiple essential items.)
