As part of its SS22 collection, Moncler Genius joins forces with young experimental designer DingYun Zhang – of Yeezy notoriety – to create an ethereal, sculptural capsule that draws inspiration from underwater scenes and emergency inflatables – and this dramatic brown puffer coat epitomises the unique quality of this capsule. It’s cocoon-like longline silhouette is crafted from glossy nylon laqué and features puffy down padding sculpted into exaggerated shapes with cut-out detailing for an avant-garde aesthetic. It’s finished with a super-chunky stand collar and, of course, the brand’s iconic Cockrel patch appliquéd at the arm.
