Breathable Mesh Upper
Providing exceptional breathability and lightweight comfort, the Wave Revolt 2's upper have been made with Mizuno's AirMesh construction. Providing you with a constant flow of air and coolness when you run, it is certain that you will be comfortable throughout your exercise. The upper also gives the shoe a much softer and smoother fit, preventing discomfort. The increased ventilation creates a perfect microclimate for your skin to thrive in so you can go further for longer in complete comfort. As well as this, a soft and padded tongue and ankle collar will reduce the risk of irritation caused by rubbing and chafing whilst a heel pull tab allows for an easy on and off. Completing the upper is a lacing system that locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
Mizuno Enerzy MidsoleProviding a soft, bouncy cushioning for your feet is the Enerzy Midsole provided in the Wave Revolt 2. The midsole technology works to absorb the shock of heel striking without compromising comfort or cushioning. Once the shock has been absorbed, the energy is harnessed and transferred to the forefoot to push you off and guide you onto the next movement. The midsole works to keep your feet comfortable at all times whilst also providing a strong and responsive base for you to push off from. Alongside the Enerzy technologies is a removable sock liner, allowing you to feel even more comfort and cushioning. Mizuno's FoamWave also adds to these pre-existing comforts and supports you even more with every stride. The wave technology gives you support and guides your foot with every movement. The interior of the shoe also has a contoured fit in the form of Dynamotion Fit, which will work with your foot throughout the gait cycle.
Durable X10 OutsoleA carbon-based rubber outsole is an exceptional addition to this shoe, as it will provide you traction on rocky or unpredictable terrain, and in particular at the heel strike. The rubber covers the heel, forefoot and midfoot to enhance durability, resisting the traumas of heel-strike and toe-off to provide you with a reliable and long-lasting running buddy. Completing the outsole is flex grooved, allowing the shoe to flex and expand in every direction for an incredibly natural, lightweight feel as you train that enables a full, unrestricted range of motion in all directions.
