With a lighter, smoother and stress-free fit thanks to the one-piece mesh upper, the construction offers a secure fit wrapping the foot for a locked-down feel to reduce in-shoe slippage. A plush, cushioned collar eliminates uncomfortable chafing and rubbing from hard edges. The traditional lace closure secures the midfoot for a secure, locked-in feel and a gusseted tongue improves comfort and offers a further enhanced fit.
Mizuno Enerzy Lite and Mizuno Wave MidsoleThe midsole construction combines the new Mizuno Enerzy Lite with a Full-Length Glass Fibre Reinforced Mizuno Wave. The Mizuno Enerzy Lite is 17% lighter and 35% more responsive than previously used U4iC foam. Mizuno Enerzy has been developed with the mission to enhance performance capacity and guarantee that athletes retain more of the energy that they put in. All whilst providing an overall more comfortable feeling. The Full-Length Glass Fibre Reinforced Mizuno Wave provides a snappier and more speed-oriented transition from heel to toe. The Mizuno Wave plate is forked to store energy during flexion and create greater propulsion during toe-off.
