Mizuno JPX 923 Hot Metal Pro Mens Irons Mizuno has created the JPX 923 Hot Metal Pro Irons so that golfers who are much more confident ball strikers are able to play with the maximum ball speed possible with every shot using these Mizuno golf clubs. This incredible speed and power have been made possible thanks to the use of a much more compact design that still offers all the accuracy and control needed to play a great round of golf.  Unlike previous models in the Mizuno JPX series the Hot Metal Pro irons have been forged using a 4335 Nickle Chromoly material that allows for faster ball speeds to be generated much more consistently. The reason that this material was used in these Mizuno driving irons is due to the 35% increase in overall strength while also being 8% thinner than previous alloys. By using a material that is thinner and provides increased strength golfers are able to generate much more energy on their shots that will transfer through to a golf ball for immediate power.  This set of Mizuno golf irons uses a V-Chassis which provides a much more solid vibration pattern to allow for increased control while the thinnest part of the sole has been increased by 18%. This increase allows for much more consistent ball speeds to be created across the club face with the high-energy area being made larger. To ensure that golfers are able to play with brilliant control and stopping power to match the high ball speed performance that is available, the Mizuno Hot Metal Irons use a seamless cup face. This design allows for a much deeper centre of gravity in the clubhead so that high launched shots can be created for a much more controllable landing angle to keep your golf ball stopping quickly on the fairways and greens. The Hot Metal Pro Irons are available with Steel Shafts that allow for much more feel and control while also reducing the amount of flex in the club face for greater accuracy. Features Faster Nickel Chromoly New 4335 Nickel Chromoly is 35% stronger than our original Chromoly, for an 8% thinner, high ball speed clubface. V-Chassis For More Solid Feel Mizuno’s new V-Chassis delivers a more solid satisfying vibration pattern, even though the clubface is 8% thinner. Increased Stopping Power Seamless cup face construction delivers the deep centre of gravity needed for a high launch and controllable landing angle. Consistent Ball Speeds Across The Face The thinnest part of the sole is extended 18% wider, creating a wider high-energy area. White-Satin Brush Non-reflective, Chrome plated finish to reduce bright light glare.  Want to trade in your old irons? See how you can do that here at Golf Gear Direct What is custom fitting?
