Designed with support and comfort in mind, the Wool Sublime combines body-contouring pocket springs, Hampshire wool and a chemical free viscose cover. Featuring a traditional hand tufted finish, the mattress has a single black tuft in the bottom right-hand corner to signify the use of the finest Hampshire wool. Wool is 100 natural and helps to dissipate the natural humidity that your body produces, resulting in a warm and comfortable surface without overheating. Housed in their own cloth sleeves, pocket springs are small in diameter compared to open coils and are totally independent of any neighbouring springs. The springs are able to move freely so the load on one is not affected by any surrounding springs, providing piston-like support to each part of your body. Reserved for premium mattresses, it features side-stitching; a labour intensive and intricate technique that takes experienced craftsmen many years to master. The side stitching process involves sewing the outer row of springs to the mattress border using a long upholstery needle and high-tension twine. This provides complete edge to edge support and prevents the border from bowing out over time and also increases the sleeping surface by 20.
