Now with a larger 10.5” PixelSense display and Bluetooth 5, Microsoft’s highly portable Surface Go 2 has been created with a fanless Pentium Gold processor that ensures legacy application support – so your longstanding software will run smoothly, whilst providing a battery life of up to 10 hours. Thanks to a microSDXC card reader you can even expand the storage up to 1TB via a pre-purchased memory card.

Handy Optional Extras – Sold Separately
Pair your Surface Go 2 tablet to a Surface Go 2 Signature Type cover* and a Surface Mobile Mouse* for a great laptop experience. Please be aware: these * two additional items are sold separately.

Intel Pentium Gold
Intel’s Pentium Gold processor 4425Y features 2MB of cache and 2 cores – giving you enough speed to get browsing, emailing and even a spot of work.

What is RAM?
RAM (Random Access Memory) is different to the permanent storage provided by hard disk drives (HDD), solid state drives (SSD) or memory cards in your equipment. RAM is used by your device to temporarily store data to carry out everyday operations. The more RAM your machine has, the faster you can expect it to open and run programs.

A solid performer
Featuring 8GB of RAM, this computer has enough power for casual tasks like web browsing and word processing as well as more demanding jobs like complex spread sheets and image manipulation. You'll be able to run a healthy number of windows at once without any obvious lag or slowdown.

Intel UHD 615 Graphics
Intel’s UHD 615 graphics processing unit (GPU) will enable you to enjoy a number of classic older games, along with some casual (web-based) gaming. You may be able to run more modern titles with reduced effects and frame rates.

Super screen
With a 10.5” PixelSense, 10-point, multi-touch and ink, capacitive screen, you’ll have true-to-life colours with high contrast and low glare.

Speedy and reliable storage
This device features a SSD (Solid State Drive) for storage. These are renowned for how quickly they access data and also being good for mobile devices as they are highly resistant to knocks and bumps.

Photos, videos, sound and easy log in
There’s a 5MP, front-facing, Windows Hello face authentication HD camera, to enable you to log into to your device with just a glance. Dual studio microphones and stereo speakers with Dolby Audio ensure you’re all set for any video chats or conferences. The Surface Go 2’s rear-facing 8MP lens can capture all your magic moments, so you’ll never miss a shot.

microSDXC card reader
Sometimes you purchase a device, thinking you’ll have more than enough storage space, only to find it’s rapidly struggling with all your files – and due to the manufacturer’s limitations, there’s no other option but to start dreaded deleting. The Surface Go 2 has a handy microSDXC card reader, so there’s no need to worry; you can always expand the storage space (up to 1TB) in the future if required (memory card sold separately).

Canny connections
Bluetooth 5 will let you wirelessly transfer data and stream media to other Bluetooth devices without draining your battery. Additionally, there’s: 1 USB Type-C, 1 Surface Connect port, a Surface Type Cover Port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Windows 10 Home in S mode
Windows 10 Home in S mode is a specific configuration of Windows 10 that offers a familiar, productive Windows experience that’s streamlined for security and performance. By exclusively using apps in the Windows Store and ensuring that you browse safely with Microsoft Edge (your default browser), Windows 10 Home in S mode keeps you running fast and secure day in and day out.

Additional information: manufacturers often update their Operating System (OS) software over the course of a device’s lifespan – this means that your product might ship with a more advanced OS than specified.
