These figures are according to an internal study in 2012 at the Ladoux Technology Centre with the following sizes: 120/70 ZR 17 (front) and 190/55 ZR 17 (rear). When tested on wet tarmac, the Pilot Power 3's are able to give fantastic gripping properties on wet and damp surfaces. This allows the rider to have peace of mind and confidence when out on the bike.These Tyres also have 2CT and 2CT+ technology. Successfully accomplishes two conflicting ideals - wear resistance in the centre of the tread, and grip on the Shoulders, providing total performance with longevity and grip. This technology has derived from MotoGP, making it possible to use two distinct rubber compounds to achieve what was once thought impossible a combination of the best wet grip and best mileage. Harder rubber underneath the softer rubber on the Shoulders to give better rigidity at lean, for more stability when cornering, especially under strong acceleration, providing total performance of stability, longevity and grip.These tyres have increased contact with the road, which makes for unstoppable grip and excellent feedback.
