Grammy award winner and rock'n'roll hall of fame recruit 'Metallica' are the official patrons of the Record Store Days on April 16, 2016. The Independent Record Stores are part of Metallica's DNA (…) We couldn't be more proud to be the patrons for the Record Store Day…“, said drummer Lars Ulrich. Within the scope of this year's Record Store Days the band will release two exclusive deluxe box sets of their albums "Kill ‘Em All" and "Ride The Lightning" on April 16. Each deluxe box set contains selected original material from the collection of the band. Among other things there will be many unknown and previously unpublished records and books with rare photographs and notes of the band. The numbered deluxe set of the album “Ride The Lightning“ contains 4 vinyl (remastered album, live show “Live At The Hollywood Palladium“ (2LP), “Creeping Death“-(Picture Disc), 6 CDs (remastered album, interview, demos & rough mixes, 4x live shows ), 1 DVD (live show “Live At The Metal Hammer Festival”, live show “Live At MTV’s Day On The Green”, Danish TV special), 1 book (72 pages with unknown photographs) and 1 mini book with handwritten lyrics by James Hetfield.
