When we realised the fashion industry we’re part of was creating landfill at a rate of 10,000 items every five minutes we knew we needed to make a change. Our TORE (TOtally REcycled) brand has developed the first ever 100% recycled socks, with every single element — all the cotton, polyester, polyamide and even the stretchy elastane — from waste materials. The dyes that colour them are environmentally non-harmful, and even TORE packaging is recycled. The feel and looks of these men’s low ankle trainer socks won’t give away that they are recycled because we’ve ensured they’re every bit as soft, breathable and comfortable as the ones you’re used to, but trust us, they’re making a huge difference! Just one of these triple packs of TORE socks allows us to save two years worth of drinking water, and divert the waste from 2.4 water bottles and 0.6 t-shirts from landfill to be useful once more.
