Backstory "The Troll Ladder" is a serpentine mountain pass leading to Valldal, a village located north of Norddalsfjorden in Norway. One of designer Mariell's childhood memories is sitting in the back of the car with the windows down, reaching out to feel the fresh breeze. This memory is captured by the sheerness and lightness of the piece, which allows the wind to touch the skin and almost makes her relive that same memory.
