Surrounding your feet in a comforting layer of protection, the Ultimate III Low's have an exceptional level of protection for feet to thrive. The Schoeller soft-shell fabrics that construct the upper of the shoes, ensure feet remain completely comfortable, making them soft and supple for your feet. Not only this, but the soft construction of these materials ensures that the walking shoes are suitable for those with wider feet. To keep your feet dry and feel fresh throughout your adventures, the shoes have an elasticated waterproof GORE-TEX membrane. This lining will ensure that both moisture and water will be prevented from entering the shoes, to keep your feet totally dry and comfortable. The membrane will still allow air to enter and exit freely to keep you feeling ventilated to a comfortable level. The constant airflow is maintained and will mean that you will always be kept at an optimum temperature. The no-sew TPU materials mean feet remain comfortable and irritation will be prevented. A traditional lacing system makes it easy to secure the fit to feel personalised and extremely comfortable. The soft and padded tongue will feel soft against the ankle, blocking dirt and debris from entering the shoes. The collar is also padded to prevent irritation from being caused by rubbing and chafing.
Rolling Concept MidsoleDesigned using a highly damping cushioning foam midsole, these walking shoes aim to provide you with enough cushioning and comfort to get you through the day. The shoe also uses Mammut's Rolling Concept; a patented sole concept that supports and cushions whilst also encouraging the foot's natural rolling movement and consequently reducing fatigue and the danger of twisting your ankle. The midsole will provide you with effective cushioning that is guaranteed to deliver long-lasting comfort. Upon every step, the material will compress, leaving you and your joints feeling protected.
