GORE-TEX Upper
The GORE-TEX upper ensures the Nordwand Knit Walking Boots are durably waterproof combined with optimised breathability offering enduring weather protection. Water stays on the outside while perspiration can easily escape from the inside. The upper boasts extreme comfort thanks to the soft 3D knitted shaft and raised rubber rand for superb durability and protection from unseen trail hazards. The high cuff protects against stones and mud, preventing them from getting inside the boots as well as providing additional ankle support on unpredictable terrains. Furthering the waterproofing on the shoe is the elastic GORE-TEX tongue construction ensuring that water can't get in from the top either, keeping all parts of your feet well protected. Designed with a two-zone lacing system, the Nordwand Knit High can be adjusted easily on the move making the boot very versatile. This means that the toe, heel and ankle are all tightened with some autonomy. The lacing starts just above the toe cup which is perfect for a technical boot, this then extends up to a locking hook at the top of the forefoot. A reinforced flexible inside prevents you from twisting your ankle whilst maintaining full freedom of movement keeping you protected as well as safe.

This patented, double-insulated carbon insole provides rigidity and insulation to keep you comfortable throughout your adventures. Vibram OutsoleThe Nordwand Knit High GORE-TEX Walking Boots utilise a Vibram Rubber outsole with high levels of traction and stability. The Vibram outsole ensures you have an excellent grip in all weather conditions, supplying you with the stability you need in changing circumstances, and preparing you for the journey ahead. Multi-directional lugs help to improve traction and grip on muddy and slippery terrains.
