The Makita model DLX2173TJ is a 2 piece combo kit featuring DHP459 18v brushless combi drill, DTD153 brushless impact driver with 2 x BL1850 5.0Ah Lithium-ion batteries, DC18RC fast charger in a MacPac Type3 Connector Case. Makita 18v Brushless motors are precision engineered to give up to twice the runtime of a regular cordless motor, all whilst running from the same battery. Without brushes in place to apply friction a Brushless motor can produce a greater measure of torque per weight.
