The Makita Cordless DHR280 is a powerful rotary hammer drill which features a 36v brushless motor powered by 2 x 18v lithium-ion batteries. Brushless motors are more efficient than a brushed motor meaning more run time per battery charge and no maintenance and less heat produced making them more suitable for prolonged use. The DHR280 is a 3-mode machine with rotary hammer for drilling concrete up to 28mm, rotary only for drilling wood, plastic and steel and hammer only mode for chiselling.
