Description
Presented in a wooden box, this wine is a seductively soft wine with a touch of creaminess, balanced by its crisp acidity and complemented by trademark characters of green apples, lemons and white blossom notes. Serve it chilled on its own as an aperitif, also it will pair perfectly mixed salads, risotto, sushi, grilled fish and poultry or soft cheeses. Louis Jadot was founded in Beaune by Louis Henri Denis Jadot in 1859 and celebrates over 150 years of fine winemaking. Over the last century and a half, the Maison has strived to establish and maintain the quality of its wines through the steady acquisition of the best vineyards in Burgundy. Today, Louis Jadot produces wines from over 150 appellations - from Beaujolais Villages to Le Montrachet. Burgundy is the birthplace of the three great grape varieties; Pinot Noir, Gamay and Chardonnay. It is from the marl and limestone soils of Burgundy, combined with the Continental climate; very cold in winter, frosts in spring and hot in the summer that they draw their strength and distinctive quality - shaping the unique character of its wines.
