A beach scene by photographer Lynne Douglas. Made in the UK, this print is presented in a window mount and a grey box-style frame, ready to hang on your wall. Lynne Douglas was born and raised in Scotland, although she lived in Switzerland for many years. Lynne is largely self-taught in the world of photography but spent her early years painting and drawing. In later years, she studied the work of photographers specialising in low light / long exposure image capture. This technique represented to Lynne a route that lifted straightforward documentary photographing of a scene to the realm of art. Images of drifting clouds, foaming sea and fabulous colours reminiscent of the impressionist painters filled her head.
