Description
Flos Pendant Transparent Glass. Dimensions: Ø 10.3 x L 165.6 cm - Cables: L 270 cm max.. Created by renowned French designers Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, the Luce Orizzontale pendant light is a poetic yet technical sculpture which combines artisan expertise with leading-edge technology. Luce Orizzontale transforms craftsmanship into its most modern expression. Luce Orizzontale is composed of tubular elements in thick glass that can be slotted into one another and which are modular, minimally hung from the ceiling. Several cylinders in textured glass are then slipped over a polished, extruded aluminium tube. The modular configuration of the lamp includes 8, 10 or 12 glass tubes (length varying from 165 cm to 248 cm). The cylindrical modules are hand-crafted using thick glass and a process consisting of pouring the glass into a rotating mould to create an exclusive, textured finish that makes each piece unique. The internal aluminium structure has two linear LED modules to create direct and indirect lighting that can be oriented upwards and downwards. A touch-sensitive control button located on one end of the tube lets you control the light, with three different modes possible. Control options available: -1 / TOUCH option: enables direct control via the touch-sensitive button located on the lamp. This option means you can vary and adjust the brightness of the light issued, either increasing or decreasing it (individually or combined) from 10% to 100%. -2/PUSH&TOUCH: Allows you to remotely switch the light on and off via a press button, as well as letting you adjust the variation and brightness of the light diffused upwards and downwards (individually or combined) from 10% to 100% thanks to the touch-sensitive button incorporated into the lamp. - 3/DALI&TOUCH: Allows you to remotely switch the light on and off via DALI DT6, as well as letting you adjust the variation and brightness of the light diffused upwards and downwards (individually or combined) from 10% to 100% thanks to the touch-sensitive button incorporated into the lamp. Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec: This isn't a technical glass, but rather a constantly evolving material, almost alive, with aluminium extrusions inserted throughout. The result that we wanted to get was precise, but also fluctuating and vibrant. The lamp can be totally dismantled without need for tools. Each component has been designed to easily be replaced, if needed. No screws or glue are used, which makes it easier to dismantle. All components can be recycled. > Flash sale: special price for a limited time only.
