The quad faceplate is fitted to a standard double box and the single faceplates to a single box using the included fixing screws, just like an aerial socket or power outlet. Then network cable can be attached to the RJ45 sockets in just a few minutes, using an IDC termination tool. Simply strip off a short section of the outer cable insulation and follow the colour coded labels on the sockets to push each internal wire into the corresponding connection using an IDC tool (the internal wires on the network cable do not need stripping).
