Each rug takes around seven weeks to complete, in a process done entirely by hand. Our wool is sourced from moroccan sheep, & brought to the studio to be carded, spun, & then dyed. Here there are no recipes; everything is done by feeling. This means, every batch of wool is unique, & no two rugs are alike. The pictures you see are for the general design & coloring. GIVING BACK in partnership with the association tafarnout, proceeds from LOOM & FIELD support literacy education for women weavers & rural development projects in the demnate region of morocco. Our products are handcrafted by artisans using traditional techniques. While each piece is created by an expert in their craft, handmade & vintage items are perfectly imperfect. There may be minor imperfections such as fading colors, loose threads, or wear.
