For the first time, the Longines Spirit watch is forged from titanium, a material largely associated with the history of aviation, an industry the Spirit collection famously pays homage to. Engineered from grade 5 titanium, this Longines Spirit 40mm watch offers a design more hardwearing and lightweight than steel alongside a slightly darker and more matte execution. To match the dark case of the Longines Spirit Titanium watch, the dial is finished in a sultry sand-blasted anthracite hue adorned with beautifully contrasting elements of mellow gold. The hands, numerals, stars and hourglass logo are all adorned in gold and offer perfect symmetry to commemorate the aeronautical world. The hands and numerals also promise a celestial glow thanks to glow in the dark “Blue Line” Superluminova. In charge of the hours, minutes and seconds functions is the automatic winding L888.4 calibre which has been uniquely COSC certified by the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute for its impeccable precision and reliability. The Longines Spirit Titanium watch’s chronometer status is marked by the five stars stamped on the dial. The watch also promises a power reserve of approximately 72 hours.
