Description
Re-designed 2 seasons ago with a lower swing weight, snappier pop and updated durable Fatty Sintered Bases and Bomb(drop) proof oversized edges. Big jumps, quad kinks, or just hot laps through the park, the Tom Wallisch Pro can perform it all with a style that'll blow up the internet. This is the best park ski developed by the best skier in the park. A low swing weight, durable construction and a snappy feel, what's not to like?Terrain Type & Ability LevelTerrain Type This is a performance park ski, that will hit any feature no matter how big or small. Stiff enough to generate power, but with the flex dialled just right so that butters and presses come easily. The light swing weight helps with spins and will have you going harder on to and off rails. It may not be wide enough to take on the fatter freestyle skis when the powder really arrives, but the quality construction ensures that it will rip round the mountain with plenty of control and response when you do take some runs outside of the park, even in freshies. Quite simply, it is the best pure freestyle ski on the market for anyone who wants a bit of extra pop and a little bit more precision.Skier TypeFreestyle skiers who want maximum pop and response, it's a park focused shape but it will happily tear around on the frontside terrain, on or off the groomers.OverviewShape90mm underfoot keeps it nimble and quick, the 19m (178cm) radius ensures stability on landings and rough snow. A 5Cut Multi Radius Sidecut blends 5 different radii so that the ski is comfortable in a variety of turns and keeps an intuitive feel. early Taper moves the widest point of the sidecut so it begins tapering earlier in the tip and tail to reduce hook ups in soft snow.Rockerearly Rise at the tip and tail lift them away from the snow to bring the contact points closer to the centre of the ski. This increases the ski's lift in deep snow and allows it to engage more quickly on hardpack when rolled over on edge.CoreThe core uses Line's legendary Maple Macroblock with 2 full length maple stringers surrounded by aspen for increased strength and durability. This works perfectly with the Carbon Ollieband, pre-stretched carbon stringers running down the ski centre for added pop and play. The result is a ski with a lot of life.ConstructionFreestyle skis need to be tough and a cap construction is the best option to resist edge dings and damage, but sidewalls offer more precision. The solution on TW Pro is Capwall, with sidewall underfoot where you want the precision and a cap in the tip and tail to provide the durability and weight saving. The rest of the construction is as well thought out too. Thin Tips also help keep the weight down by using a thin core and sidewall in the tip and tail, saving 100grams a pair for reduced swing weight. The textured tougher top sheet materials resist scratches and abuse for longer, protecting the look and life of the ski. Not just great skis, but tough ones too.Key FeaturesFatty Base and edge30% thicker base and edge, 2.2mm wide x 2.5mm high steel edges and 1.7mm thick base dramatically increase durability and tuning life of the skis.Symmetric FlexThe same flex pattern in front and behind your boot conforms to terrain equally riding forward and backwards.eB tester’s comments: Mark (Trainer) Absolutely predictable handling, which in the park is essential to give you the confidence to keep lapping and get your tricks dialled in. They're actually pretty fun for smashing around on the piste too.Size (cm)Tip Width (mm)Waist Width (mm)Tail Width (mm)Radius (m)Weight (g)1571189011614.1641189011615.5.1711189011617.5.1781189011619.General InformationSkier Ability: Intermediate|Advanced|expertRocker: Tip/Tail RockerRadius: MediumBindings: Ski sold flatDIN: n/aConstruction: Semi SidewallCore: WoodDemo: No
