I often decorate the houses I’m asked to work for with natural plants and grasses and press weeds for picture scapes on walls. Increasingly I think many of us prefer these same gentle, aesthetics. If I glimpse a modern bridal bouquet, they are more often feathery and flowing these days. Untended lawns resplendent with tall weeds and wilful grasses are more commonplace now and these curated meadows create interesting wild spaces that magically attract bees and butterflies.
