Description
With long upright flower spikes covered in pale pink blooms each of a delicate and intriguing shape, this graceful flower goes by the rather mundane name of Toadflax. It brings colour to a cottage garden, herbaceous border or gravel garden from June right through to September. Butterflies love the nectar-rich flowers and long flowering period, so it is perfect in a wildlife garden too. It also makes a great cut flower. Linaria purpurea 'Canon Went', is easy to grow and thrives on a light, well-drained soil. Height: 90cm (36). Spread: 30cm (12).
