Pleated blinds are not only suitable for providing shade in the workplace or for acting as privacy screens, they can also play a large role in the interior design of a room. With various colours and fabric textures, they are considered to be a stylish window decoration, alongside traditional curtains and drapes. In the same way as Roman blinds, upper and lower operating rails can be adjusted to fit any desired position on the window. This pleated blind is distinctive because of its high quality digital print, which is so realistic it almost looks like a photograph. These tightened pleated blinds with a decorative pattern are the perfect privacy screen and protect against glare. They are ideal for use in rental apartments as you don't have to drill or screw them in, but also for privately owned houses. They can be assembled quickly and easily using the four adjustable clamp brackets included in the delivery. Clamp mounting saves time and prevents door- and window frames being damages by drilling holes. The pleated blind features technically advanced clamp brackets with an improved design to make mounting easier and more convenient. Delivery includes tension casings which can also be used to mount the blind directly onto the window frame. The side tension ensures a secure hold in any desired position and thus allows for privacy and sun protection at any time of the day. Want to shorten the width of the blind? No problem. Since you can just move or adjust the pleats, you don't have to make any changes to the system. Many windows have a non-standard width, often forcing customers to buy expensive custom-made products. With this blind - it's not necessary. So how do you shorten the blinds? You will need a ruler or tape measure, a pencil, a carpet knife and a small metal saw. Procedure: Please note that the pleating on each side of the blinds can only be shortened by a maximum of 7cm! Step 1. Measure the width to which you want to shorten the blind. Step 2. Bring the pleated blinds together in a disassembled state. Step 3. Remove the upper and lower covering cap on the left or right side from the aluminium rail (simply pull it out). Then proceed to remove the fabric from the rail. Step 4. Shorten the fabric to the desired width (it is recommended to completely gather the fabric together and cut it from top to bottom with the carpet knife). Step 5. Push the fabric back into the aluminium rail. Finally shorten the top and bottom rails to match the fabric with the metal saw. Step 6. Reattach cover caps. Easy! Delivery includes: Pleated blind, mounting instructions, mounting materials, 4 clamp brackets, 4 tension casings and 4 screws. Care instructions: If the blind gets dusty, it can be easily cleaned with a vacuum cleaner. In case of stains, just wipe the fabric with a damp cloth. Material properties: 100% polyester, translucent, providing privacy, glare and sun protection. The rails are made of sturdy aluminium.
