Beautiful 1960s Ercol blonde elm & beech extension table also known as an end table, Ercol model number 265 & only produced by Ercol from 1953-1967. It was designed to extend the plank & dropleaf tables manufactured by Ercol (model numbers 228, 263, 382 & 383). This is a very versatile table, it can also be used as a side table as well as a desk. We have paired the table up with a 1960s Ercol 'All Purpose' Windsor chair also in a blonde finish, Ercol model number 391, produced by Ercol from 1957-1985. The table has been completely stripped. The curved rectangular elm top has been sealed with 3 coats of Osmo Clear Satin Polyx oil & the whole table has been refinished with 3 coats of Briwax. The chair has also been stripped & refinished with 3 coats of Briwax. Both are offered in good vintage condition. Please note both the table & chair are vintage items so may have signs of wear & tear as you would expect so please study all the images. More photos available on request.
