A versatile wide-angle prime optimised to create a dream-like, cinematic, and colour-accurate aesthetic, the Leica 28mm f2 Summicron-M Asph lens consistently performs throughout the full aperture range. You are afforded incredible tonal detail for black and white photography, impeccable sharpness, and pin-point colour-accuracy. In regard to the interior optics, this lens is composed of nine elements in six key groupings. This includes one aspherical element to actively reduce spherical aberrations and distortions at all points of focus. Adhering to Leica's renowned manual focus designation, this lens has the ability to capture sharp dynamic imagery and intricate micro-contrasts. The front of the lens barrel is also threaded to accept 46mm filters, in addition to a detachable lens hood to tackle harsh lighting conditions and reduce glare.
