It's here that the Polymer Compound shell and 360° Turbine Technology work together to ensure impact forces are minimised and you're able to get up and keep riding. The DBX 4.0 V20.1 Helmet is lined with energy-absorbing discs and these work to reduce both the rotational acceleration to the head and brain and absorb energy upon impact at concussion level. With a breakaway visor also reducing rotational forces on impact this is a lid which won't let you down when head meets dirt. When you hit the ground your brain will thank you for pulling on this lid. With protection taken care of, comfort is next up. The Dri-Lex® is moisture-wicking and breathable and after a hot day on the trails you can take it out for washing. The anti-odour properties keep the stink levels low too. Good ventilation is also key for comfort and the DBX 4.0 V20.1 doesn't skimp, with 22 vents keeping things fresh inside. With a Fidlock magnetic closure system, it's also an easy helmet to slip on or off.
