Classic designer pendant lamp 153 - created by Andreas Hansen in 1964 The design pendant luminaire 153 is suitable for general lighting in living rooms and bedrooms as well as for the light-filled staging of a dining table. The Danish designer Andreas Hansen has been developing furniture, lighting and other furnishings in his own studio since 1963, mainly for companies based in Denmark. In the early years of his career, he designed a number of lamps for the Danish lighting company LE KLINT, whose shades had sharp points. The lamps, like the other LE KLINT lamps, are folded by hand, even though they are not the classic LE KLINT folds. The Danish lighting company LE KLINT, based in Odense, stands out due to the manual production of the shades, which are folded using sophisticated handicraft techniques. This type of handicraft is now only practised in Odense.
