This rose is best harvested in the early morning before the sun has a chance to dessicate the rose, one by one they are picked using a particular maneouvre passed down for generations. The delicate petals are then gathered and distilled to preserve the freshness of their honeyed, floral aroma. They are particularly precious because this variety of rose only flowers once a year, some time in May-June.
