For the box of these Milk & Dark Chocolate Covered Almonds, artist Marie Assénat has perfectly captured a weekend away in Paris, right down to the tourist sites and a poodle in a beret. The hazelnuts themselves have been gently roasted over a naked flame in a copper pot with caramelised sugar. They are then wrapped in coats of extra dark 60% and creamy milk 31% cacao chocolate. At once crisp and smooth; it's a challenge not to eat the entire box in a single sitting. Illustrators Matthieu and Paul fell in love at art school in Paris in 2004. A few years later they met Vincent and realised that the three of them shared an intense passion of chocolate. The Three Chocolatiers - the Athos, Porthos and Aramis of confectionery - embarked on an adventure; all for chocolate and chocolate for all.
