Blending the speed of Lazer's Wasp Air with features to cater exclusively for the needs of triathlon riders is Lazer's new Wasp Air Tri Helmet, and is available in a variety of vibrant finishes. Everything about the Wasp Air Tri helmet is shaped around the rider's position, finding the maximum aerodynamic gains whilst providing the comfort required to maintain the perfect position at all times. The Wasp Air Tri also benefits from the addition of a honeycomb front ventilation panel and unique, spring loaded Aquavent which is used to allow the rider to pour water over their head for cooling without removing their helmet by simply pushing the vent down with the top of the open water bottle and squeezing. The Wasp Air also boasts an integrated lens that can be moved forward so that air can flow into the helmet when needed, and thus creates an airflow through the helmet with air passing over the rider's head and out of the two tail vents. The performance of the Wasp Air is the result of extensive wind tunnel research, scientific insight into aerodynamics and the use of mathematical models that have allowed Lazer to compute and optimise the shape of the helmet in the virtual environment. A trip wire on the top of the surface of the Wasp Air Tri creates micro vertices to assure for a smooth airflow over the tail of the helmet, and thanks to Lazer's advanced Turnfit retention system, you are ensured of a snug and comfortable fit for the full length of your ride.
