Lavender 'Hidcote' must be one of the nation's best-known varieties of English lavender. Its fragrant stems are ideal for cutting or drying, and the nectar-rich flowers attract a wealth of bees. With its compact habit and dark purple flower heads, 'Hidcote' makes an excellent low hedge or path edging, where you can appreciate the fragrance as you brush past its aromatic, evergreen foliage.
