Description
This rug is hand-knotted in Mashad. They often have a large, centrally placed medallion of beautiful floral motifs, a typical oriental motif. The medallion is in dark blue-red and blue shades and the wool of the carpet is very soft. It is often reminiscent of some of the Keshan carpets. The durable Mashad rug is very pithy and sturdy.
