The Laowa 9mm f5.6 FF RL Lens for Sony E is an ultra-wide-angle lens that's characterised by its 135° field of view with a rectilinear design. The lens sees an advanced structure that is made up of 14 lens elements arranged into 10 groups, that includes the use of 2 Extra-Low Dispersion, 2 aspherical and 2 UHR elements. This intricate design is what enables such a light level of image quality that has significantly reduced chromatic, spherical aberrations and colour fringing. The lens has a manual focusing operation that allows for a minimum focusing distance of 12cm for a wide range of photographic applications. The lens is super-compact and lightweight, just 350g in weight and just under 7cm in length, making it the perfect lens for travel photographers taking landscape and architectural images.
